The Indiana Fever said Monday Caitlin Clark will miss her fifth consecutive game and won’t play at Atlanta Tuesday.

Head Coach Steph White said Clark is practicing and “ramping back up”, but her strained left quad is not 100% yet. “We’re going to be smart, and we’re going to be cautious and we’re going to play the long game and work her back in very intentionally,” White said.

Clark, former Iowa Hawkeye and Dowling Catholic Maroon, was off to a fast start averaging 19 points and 9 assists per game. She could still return in time for the Fever’s game against the Liberty Saturday.

The Fever are 2-2 with Clark out.
