DES MOINES, Iowa – Don’t be too concerned if you see a large law enforcement and emergency response presence at two of West Des Moines’ parks Friday.

A Public Safety All Hazards Drill is being conducted by West Des Moines Public Safety departments at Holiday Park and Florer Park. The drill is expected to run from 7:00 a.m. to noon.

Officials say there will be a heavy presence of police, fire, and EMS personnel participating in the training.

The public is being asked to avoid the parks while the drill is happening.
