South winds and plenty of sunshine have allowed temperatures to climb above Friday’s. Your weather timeline takes you into an even warmer Sunday!

Lows Saturday night will stay mild, setting us up for that warm and breezy Sunday. A few scattered showers are possible along and north of Interstate 80 as a cold front passes through Iowa.

We then head into a windy Monday behind the front, which will bring cooler temperatures into the state. A few scattered showers are possible during the day, but most of the precipitation won’t be able to make it to the surface, it appears, due to the dry air in place.

Tuesday will be breezy and dry. A warm front lifts across the state on a dry Wednesday, and the warm air will set us up for shower and thunderstorm chances late Thursday into early Friday. Colorado State’s severe weather algorithm indicates a small chance of severe weather with these, and we’ll be monitoring. Most look to see less than a half inch of rain by Friday morning.

Highs for the next six days:

Your WHO 13 7-day forecasts are below. It does appear we could see storms and heavier rain a week from Sunday. And the 8-to-14-day outlooks below indicate warmer and wetter weather.
