AMES, Iowa — Multiple crashes on Highway 30 in Ames are causing a traffic backup.

The Ames Police Department said in a post on Facebook that officers have responded to multiple crashes on both sides of Highway 30 near the S Duff interchange.

As of 8:05 a.m. the Iowa Department of Transportation’s 511 website reported a roughly seven minute delay in both directions.

No additional information has been released.
