A select few Central Iowa students are uncommon, and that is a good thing! The Uncommon Student Award is a scholarship opportunity through the Herbert Hoover Foundation. The students must engage in the community in an uncommon way that benefits their neighbors. We met one of the finalists for the Uncommon Student Award in this week’s Scholastic Spotlight.
