DES MOINES, Iowa — Residents of Sherman Hill are preparing to transform their neighborhood into a Halloween wonderland to raise donations for the DMARC Food Pantry Network, which provided food for over 79,000 individuals in Des Moines last year.
The neighborhood goes all out with decorating their yards for the event. Visitors can find a pirate ship and chilling creatures like zombie spiders, Imperial storm troopers, Ghostbusters, Medieval knights, and Freddy Krueger roaming the streets.
Food vendors will also be on site to sell their deliciously scary treats.
You can check it out on Thursday, October 30th, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. There is no admission price, but you can bring non-perishable food items to donate to DMARC or donate money through a QR code at the event. Find out more information here.
