40-year-old Kenney Ryan Hunsley was convicted of four counts of second degree sexual abuse of a child under the age of 12 by a Polk County jury on Thursday.
The Polk County Attorney’s Office says the evidence shows that between January 2014 and September 2021, Hensley abused the child multiple times. The abuse was reported to authorities in July 2024.
The jury deliberated for around three hours before returning the verdict, according to PC Attorney’s Office. Each of these charges is a Class B felony and carries a 25-year sentence. Hunsley faces up to 100 years in prison and will be sentenced at a later date.
