DALLAS COUNTY, Iowa — One person was killed after his car rolled multiple times near West Des Moines Monday.
At around 5:32 p.m. multiple law enforcement agencies responded to a report of a crash in the 4400 block of SE Grand Prairie Parkway, southwest of West Des Moines. According to an Iowa State Patrol crash report, a Mini Cooper was traveling southbound at a high rate of speed and the driver lost control, causing the vehicle to roll multiple times before coming to rest on the east side of the road.
The crash report states that the driver, identified as 25-year-old Nicholas James Henry of Truro, was not wearing a seatbelt. Henry was transported to a nearby hospital but died from his injuries.
