DES MOINES, Iowa — If you liked Friday’s weather, one would assume you like Saturday. Temperatures will be just a bit cooler as we head into Sunday, after cooler overnight lows.

We look to stay in the dry category dewpoint-wise, so any frontal boundaries that may pass by have little in the way of moisture to work with to create precipitation. We’re more than an inch below average rainfall for the month of September now, and we’ve really dried out after a soaker of a July.

Both the European computer model and the Weather Prediction Center keep us dry for the next seven days. The only change of note will come in the way of increased cloud cover Tuesday and Wednesday.

Highs for the next six days can be found above, and don’t change a whole lot. Your 7-day forecasts are below.

Extended forecasts, again, keep us warmer than average into the first week of October. The next chance for precipitation, along with a cooling trend, comes sometime around October 6-8.
