PLEASANT HILL, Iowa — Officials have released the name of a Pleasant Hill man who died after being pulled from Copper Creek Lake last week.
Capt. Amy Kramer, Public Information Officer for the Pleasant Hill Police Department, said rescue crews responded to the lake on Friday afternoon and located Greg Lewis in the water. He was removed from the lake, and CPR was started before Lewis was transported to a local hospital for treatment by Pleasant Hill Fire Rescue.
Capt. Kramer said Lewis has passed away, and there is no suspicion of foul play related to his death.
