Concours d’Elegance Charity Gala raises money for Children’s Cancer Connection

DES MOINES, Iowa — Car enthusiasts gathered at the 2025 Concours d’Elegance Charity Gala Saturday evening to raise money for Children’s Cancer Connection.

The gala had a variety of high end luxury sports cars on display as well as live and silent auctions, and a catered dinner.

Daryl Metzger, the Gala Chari of the Concours d’Elegance Charity Gala, said that he is proud to raise money for charity.

“Especially when we get to write a check to our charity at the end of the year and after all that’s clear and everything, we get to decide how much we got left and we write a nice check and have a little presentation, that’s when I really feel proud of this event and all the people that worked on it,” Metzger said.

The Concours d’Elegance car show runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, September 7th, at the Pappajohn Sculpture Park.
