GUTHRIE COUNTY, Iowa — The Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office is looking for more information about caltrops that are allegedly causing flat tires near Guthrie Center.
The Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office posted on Facebook Thursday saying, “We are hoping to prevent you from having a bad day!”
The GCSO says they have received reports of flat tires, mainly in the Guthrie Center area. Officials posted photos saying the pieces pictured have been found imbedded in tires by repair shops.


The GCSO encourages anyone with information about these incidents or the culprit to contact them at 641-747-2214.
