BREMER COUNTY, Iowa — An Urbandale woman was killed and five others were injured during a crash in Bremer County on Saturday.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, the crash occurred around 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of 190th Street and Piedmont Avenue, near Tripoli.
A Toyota Tacoma was traveling eastbound on 190th Street when it failed to yield to a posted sign and entered the intersection, ISP reported. A Ford F-150 traveling southbound on Piedmont Avenue struck the driver’s side of the Toyota in the intersection.
Urbandale resident Lungawia Chalthleng, 41, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Five others were injured and were transported via Air Care and ambulance to local hospitals for treatment. Their conditions are unknown.
