DUBLIN, Ireland — The Iowa State Cyclones opened the season with a win against the Kansas State Wildcats in Dublin, Ireland
The No. 22 Cyclones took on No. 17 Kansas State Wildcats at Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland. The Cyclones have now won five of the last six games against the Wildcats.
The win against the Wildcats gives head coach Matt Campbell his 100th win and puts Iowa State 1-0 at the start of the college football season.
The game is part of the Aer Lingus College Classic, which for years has brought American college football to Ireland as a way to promote the country as a travel destination.
