COLFAX, Iowa — Multiple agencies are responding to a car on its side and a semi fire on Interstate 80 outside Colfax.

According to the Iowa State Patrol, multiple crews are at the scene of two incidents that happened near Colfax earlier this afternoon.

Shortly after 5 p.m., an incident occurred on Interstate 80 near mile marker 156. An Iowa511 camera showed heavy smoke and flames coming from a semi.

A few miles down the interstate, an incident occurred near mile marker 159. An Iowa511 camera shows a car flipped on its side with smoke coming from the vehicle.

Iowa State Patrol says there has been no confirmation on injuries from the semi fire, but that individuals sustained minor injuries in the crash at mile marker 159.
