DES MOINES, Iowa — The search for a suspect accused of a robbing a bank in Des Moines on Thursday continues.

At around noon the Des Moines Police Department was called to the US Bank at 2401 University Avenue for a report of a robbery. According to the DMPD, the suspect was armed with a gun, but no injuries occurred.

The suspect fled from the bank on foot.

No additional information has been released.
