DES MOINES, Iowa — The Des Moines Police Department said one of two teens reported missing last week has been found.

Police said on Monday that 14-year-old Zayden has been located and is safe.

Zayden and 17-year-old Alexis had last been seen on July 12th in the 900 block of SW Porter Avenue in Des Moines. They were both voluntarily absent but did not have prescribed medications with them.

Alexis has not yet been located. She is 5’3″ and 109 pounds, and was last seen wearing blue medical-style scrubs.
