DES MOINES, Iowa — Hundreds of cyclists will fill the streets of downtown Des Moines Saturday night for a good cause.

The Moonlight Classic gives bicyclists a chance to take a ride and see the city in a unique light, while raising money for youth mental health with Orchard Place.

Vice President of Orchard Place, Katie Snell said, “At Orchard Place, we provide a safe environment for children and their families to overcome mental health adversity.”

The ride starts and ends at the Iowa Taproom. Registration opens at 7:30 p.m., the program starts at 9 p.m. and then the ride begins shortly after.
