DES MOINES, Iowa — Waveland Golf Course in Des Moines is closed as Des Moines police investigate a reported “suspicious device” that was found.

According to the DMPD, the golf course is secure and the Bomb Squad is currently investigating the scene. The golf course is closed to all individuals as the investigation unfolds.

The DMPD said that there’s no indication of ongoing danger to the surrounding neighborhood.
