CLARKE COUNTY, Iowa — A Thayer man was killed over the weekend in a UTV crash.

On Sunday night at around 8:30 p.m. the Iowa State Patrol responded to a report of a UTV crash on 110th Avenue north of Oakwood Street in rural Clarke County. According to a crash report, 45-year-old Andrew James Neisemier of Thayer was driving a UTV northbound on 110th Avenue when he lost control and crashed into the east ditch.

The crash report states that Neisemier died from his injuries at the scene. A juvenile, who was a passenger on the UTV, was injured and transported to a hospital via air ambulance.

No additional information has been released.
