SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — Sioux City officials are at the scene of a large-scale animal rescue operation Friday morning.
Sioux City Animal Rescue officials found themselves in the area of the 2700 block of 41st Street Friday morning, where they have been attempting to rescue over 100 animals.
According to a KCAU 9 reporter at the scene, there are more than 100 chickens at the property, many of them dead. There are also five dogs at the property.
KCAU 9 Reporter Aveya Hannan said that Animal Rescue officials are currently attempting to wrangle up all the animals.
Information about the owner of the animals or any pending charges has not been released at this time.
