CLIVE, Iowa — A street in Clive is now closed after a train car derailed on Wednesday evening.
According to the City of Clive, a train car derailed near Swanson Boulevard and Harbach Boulevard. The derailment caused damage to the tracks and to the road. As a result, the city said both directions of travel on Swanson Boulevard near the railroad will be closed through at least Thursday.
No information about what caused the derailment or the extent of the damage it caused has been released.
