DES MOINES, Iowa — The Des Moines Police Department is asking for the public’s help to locate a man wanted on an active felony warrant.

Chad C. Smith, 42, is being sought for the alleged sexual abuse of a juvenile female, according to DMPD. The warrant is for second-degree sexual abuse.

Smith is 5’7″ and 160 pounds and is known to frequent homes on the south and southwest sides of Des Moines.

DMPD says if you see Smith or know anything about his location, call 911.
