WEST DES MOINES, Iowa — The favorite burger joint of the undead will shut down one of its locations later this month.
Orchestrate Hospitality announced Tuesday that the Zombie Burger + Shake Lab at Jordan Creek Mall will close on June 27th. The restaurant has been part of the food court at the mall for 10 years.
“This was not an easy decision or one we took lightly,“ said Zombie Burger co-owner and Orchestrate Hospitality president Paul Rottenberg. “We’ve enjoyed being a fixture of Jordan Creek Mall for the past decade. However, with the conclusion of our lease, interest from other parties to re-imagine the space, and new growth opportunities in Orchestrate’s wider business portfolio, the time was right.”
The original Zombie Burger in Des Moines’ East Village will remain open.
Orchestrate Hospitality says it is working with its interested Jordan Creek employees on finding other positions within the company.
