DES MOINES, Iowa — Police in Des Moines are asking for help to identify a vehicle and driver that could help move the investigation into a deadly hit-and-run crash forward.
The Des Moines Police Department released photos of the vehicle taken from surveillance cameras. Police say the vehicle and whoever was driving at the time could have valuable information in the death of David Molina Ramirez, 62.
Molina Ramirez was found dead in the west alley in the 1100 block of East 9th Street around 10:30 p.m. on March 29th. DMPD said it appears he was walking down the alley when he was struck by a vehicle, which then fled the scene. Police believe Molina Ramirez had been dead for several hours before he was located.
