WEST DES MOINES, Iowa — The West Des Moines Police Department is requesting the public’s help in locating a missing woman believed to be in crisis.

Claire Cassidy Carlson, 28, was reported missing on Wednesday. Police said it’s believed Carlson is in the Des Moines area and is known to visit parks and large bodies of water. Police also said it’s believed that Carlson is in crisis.

Carlson is 5′ 7″ tall, weighs 170 lbs., and has hazel eyes and brown/blonde hair. Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call Westcom dispatch at (515)222-3321 or your local law enforcement agency.
