Forecast: Here comes the rain!

We’ve improved a bit over Friday as the sun has reappeared on a nice Saturday. It will go into hiding again tomorrow as a Sunday soaker is on the way:

It’ll be a chilly Saturday night across the north before clouds and rain move in. Southeast Iowa has a slight chance of seeing a stronger storm on Sunday.

Rain looks to start Sunday morning, and end during the early morning hours Monday. Several spots could see over an inch by Monday morning, especially in the east.

Monday will be dry and a little breezy, with sunshine by the afternoon. Scattered storm chances reenter the forecast during the day on Tuesday, but nothing severe is expected. We’ll see a third rain chance starting Wednesday evening and lasting into early Friday morning.

Highs for the next six days, which will get back into the 70’s by Tuesday.
