DES MOINES, Iowa– A strong storm system will move through Iowa Thursday night. The strongest storms are predicted to hit the hardest after 7 PM and before Midnight. Large hail is the biggest threat. Most of the state is under a slight risk for severe storms Thursday night.

Precipitation, in the form of rain, looks to be minimal out of the storm.

There is a better chance for widespread heavy rainfall by Sunday.
