INDIANOLA, Iowa — Summerset Winery announced on Wednesday that it will be closed for the 2025 season.
The winery said that during the winter there was a water main break that caused extensive damage to the electrical systems, flooring, and heating and cooling units. Due to the damage, the winery will be closed for the season to repair the damage.
While the winery won’t be hosting weddings, Easter celebrations, or Sunday Tunes, guests can still rent the winery’s Airbnb.
Fans of the winery will still be able to find them at the Downtown Des Moines Farmers Market and at most Hy-Vee and Fareway stores.
A reopening date has not been announced.
