NEWTON, Iowa — Sukup Manufacturing Company will be the new title sponsor of the INDYCAR Race Weekend at the Iowa Speedway.

INDYCAR leaders announced the news on Thursday. Sukup Manufacturing has sponsored other INDYCAR races in the past, including the Sukup INDY NXT by Firestone, and has sponsored INDYCAR Pole Day.

“Sukup has built itself from a successful family-owned company into a trusted, innovative and dedicated national brand committed to delivering quality products to its customers while supporting communities across the state of Iowa,” Kristin Stepinski, general manager of Sukup INDYCAR Race Weekend, said. “Iowa is the leader in agricultural technology and Sukup sets the pace for innovation and world-class manufacturing in the industry. We are excited to partner with one of Iowa’s leading companies for Sukup INDYCAR Race Weekend at Iowa Speedway.”

The news comes after event organizers announced in February that Hy-Vee would no longer be the title sponsor for the race weekend.
