DES MOINES, Iowa — The Des Moines Police Department is asking for help to locate a violent wanted felon.

Adam Cart, 35, is being sought on multiple felony warrants, including eluding and a parole violation on a drug possession charge, according to DMPD spokesperson Sgt. Paul Parizek.

Police said Cart led officers on a vehicle chase on March 22nd, and there have been multiple sightings of him in the Watrous Heights neighborhood on the south side since.

Sgt. Parizek said Cart’s warrants point out he’s been known to go armed in the past and has violent tendencies. If you see Cart, police say you should call 911. Do not approach him.

Anonymous tips can be submitted through Crimestoppers of Central Iowa, and reward funds may be available.
