DES MOINES, Iowa — The Des Moines Police Department is requesting the public’s help in locating a missing 14-year-old girl.

Alayna was reported missing at around 1:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Police said it’s believed that Alayna is in emotional crisis.

Alayna was last seen near Fort Des Moines Park on the south side of Des Moines wearing a pink hoodie, black pants, and brown boots. Police said her destination is unknown.

Anyone with information about Alayna’s whereabouts is asked to call 911.
