DES MOINES, Iowa — An ATM machine was stolen from The Dam Pub following a car crashing into the business early Sunday morning.

According to the owners, at around 5 a.m. a car crashed into the front window of a business located at 2710 Beaver Avenue, The Dam Pub.

Owners say a car sped up and rammed into the front window of the business and then stole the ATM. The owners say that nobody was in the building and no injuries have been reported.

Cleaning crews noticed the damage and notified the owners immediately. Crews then began cleaning up the mess.

The Dam Pub shared on Facebook that they opened for business at 10 a.m., as usual, but that the game room is closed.

The Des Moines Police say an investigation into the crash and theft has been opened.
