How much snow has fallen so far in central Iowa

DES MOINES, Iowa – The snow is still falling across central Iowa, but early totals are coming in. By the end of this event we expect about 4-7″ across most of the state with lower totals in northern and northwestern Iowa. Snow will continue through Wednesday evening.

Here’s how much snow we’ve picked up as of 7 AM Wednesday:

  • Murray: 4.6″
  • New Market: 3.7″
  • Montezuma: 3.5″
  • Corning: 3.2″
  • Indianola: 3.0″
  • Des Moines Airport: 2.5″
  • Massena: 2.5″
  • St. Charles: 2.4″
  • Polk City: 1.8″
  • Ottumwa: 1.6″
  • Carroll: 1.5″
  • Nevada: 1.5″
  • Grundy Center: 1.0″
  • Sac City: 1.0″
  • Floris: 1.0″
  • Badger: 0.5″
  • Jefferson: 0.5″
