DES MOINES – The Drake Bulldogs are on top of the MVC and Point Guard Bennett Stirtz is a big reason why.

Stirtz leads the Valley in scoring, assists, and steals per game and is the front-runner for MVC Player of the Year.

Stirtz came to Drake with Head Coach Ben McCollum out of NW Missouri State, a Division 2 school, but he’s clearly proving to be overlooked and under-recruited out of high school.
