Sunday at 9:08 a.m., the police department posted on Facebook asking people living near the intersection of 3rd and Oneida Streets to evacuate due to threats involving guns. In another Facebook post at 4:55 p.m., authorities said an individual was barricaded and actively firing at officers. Anyone who hadn’t evacuated at the time was asked to shelter in place, remaining indoors and staying away from any windows or doors.
