WEST DES MOINES, Iowa — Model railroad enthusiasts will want to make a beeline to the West Des Moines Public Library this weekend.

Starting Friday afternoon, a model railroad display presented by DesMoiNTrak, a non-profit model railroad club, will be on view. Library officials say the display has been one of the library’s most popular events so they’re bringing it back.

The N-scale working layout will fill the library’s community room. A train craft will also be available for kids in the Children’s Department.

All ages are invited to attend the free event at 4000 Mills Civic Parkway in West Des Moines.

The dates and times are:

• Friday, January 17th — 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Friday, January 18th — 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Friday, January 19th — 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
