DES MOINES, Iowa – Entertainers and animals are returning to Wells Fargo Arena this weekend for Cinch’s World’s Toughest Rodeo.

Events from bareback to saddle bronc to barrel racing to bull riding are highlights at the event this year. Around 600 cubic yards of dirt was loaded into the arena floor earlier this week in preparation for the event.

Before the show, those who attend the rodeo are able to get down on the dirt and sit on a bull, learn to lasso, and ride a pony among other interactive activities.

The rodeo show itself starts at 7:30PM on Friday, January 10th and Saturday, January 11th. Free preshow activities on the floor take place at 6:00PM. Event organizers say you get more out of the event the earlier you arrive.
