AMES, Iowa – Overnight construction work in Ames will close down a portion of Highway 30 for the next few days.
The Iowa Department of Transportation says westbound Highway 30 between the exits at Dayton Avenue and Duff Avenue will be closed between 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. on Wednesday and Thursday. The overnight work is expected to wrap up by 5:00 a.m. Friday.
A detour will be in place with drivers exiting at Dayton Avenue and traveling west on SE 16th Street and returning to Highway 30 from Duff Avenue.
