DES MOINES, Iowa — An investigation is underway following an officer-involved shooting on the southeast side of Des Moines Thursday evening.

According to the Des Moines Police Department, an officer-involved shooting occurred in the 2100 block of Meadow Court. Police said the scene is secure and there’s no ongoing danger to the community.
