POWESHIEK COUNTY, Iowa — A multi-vehicle crash on I-80 near Malcom has shut down Interstate 80.

According to the Iowa DOT 511 website at approximately 5:35 p.m. a crash occurred between Exit 191 and Exit 197 on I-80.

The crash crosses both the eastbound and westbound lanes of I-80 leading to traffic delays in both lanes, according to the 511 website.

The Iowa State Patrol posted on X confirmed serious injuries have been reported.

Multiple agencies are responding to the scene.
