ALTOONA, IOWA — Eastbound traffic on Interstate 80 is at a complete standstill on Wednesday evening after a crash involving a semi blocked all three travel lanes. The crash appears to have happened right around 4:00 pm near the 139 mile marker. That is just east of the east mixmaster. Traffic is backed up for miles in both directions. Expect significant delays if you are traveling east from Des Moines on Wednesday evening.

Police and fire officials are on the scene of the crash. No injuries have been reported. This is a developing story.
