Ankeny High School is celebrating a national nomination for one of its graduated students. Evie Neller earned a nomination with the National Student Production Awards under the National Academy of Television Arts and Science Foundation. It’s a sign of the success of Ankeny’s Journalism Program.

And in the spirit of Thanksgiving week, schools around Central Iowa are stepping up to bring in donations for local food pantries. Southeast Polk High School was one of those schools and they donated more than 1,000 items!
