Despite cloud cover we warmed up nicely Sunday, with temperatures in the 50’s and even 60’s in some areas. Colder air will begin to move in overnight, setting us up for a chillier weather timeline.
It’s possible we’ll see patchy drizzle and fog overnight, especially in the north. We may also see a light mix in Wednesday’s forecast, but neither event should affect travel.
Lows get chillier tonight, as do the highs as we move through the work week (below).
Hawkeye fans will have a chilly Kinnick Stadium to deal with Friday evening as the Cornhuskers come to town. Bundle up!
Medium range models are giving us a chance of light rain and light snow on Saturday. That along with cold temperatures may make for a wintry Farmageddon again on a cold Saturday night in Ames.
The 6-to-10 and 8-to-14 day outlooks keep us colder and drier than average as we move into the first week of December.
