INDIANOLA, Iowa — Three Indianola farms are collaborating to host an event on Saturday to showcase local vendors.

Cortum Farm & Co, Edge of the Woods Farm, and Honey Hollow are hosting the third annual Holiday Happenings at each of their farms from 9 a.m. through 2 p.m.

Local businesses from all over Warren County are setting up stations at each farm to sell their homegrown or homemade products.

While this is only the third year of Holiday Happenings, the Edge of the Woods Farm has hosted a holiday shopping event for more than a decade. Beth McGeough, the owner, said this is their 11th annual Holiday Open House, where shoppers can see their products and other products that local vendors sell at their farm.

The partnership of the three farms to create Holiday Happenings was to grow their outreach and provide opportunity for people to see different Warren County smally businesses in one area.

Cortum Farm & Co is located at 6373 150th Avenue, Edge of the Woods Farm is located at 15285 Fairfax Street, and Honey Hollow is located at 13778 Summerset Road. All are in Indianola.
