Zach Nunn wins re-election to Congress, AP projects

IOWA — Representative Zach Nunn is returning to Congress for a second term after defeating Democratic challenger Lanon Baccam, the Associated Press is projecting on election night in Iowa’s 3rd District.

Nunn was first elected to Congress in 2022, defeating incumbent Congresswoman Cindy Axne.  Nunn, an Altoona Republican, is an Air Force veteran who previously served for eight years in the Iowa legislature before winning election to Congress.
