DES MOINES, Iowa — Some of the cutest costumed characters aren’t big enough to venture out trick-or-treating just yet, but they’re still getting in on the fun!
MercyOne Des Moines and UnityPoint Health shared some adorable photos of their littlest patients dressed up for Halloween. These babies couldn’t be any sweeter, so it’s probably a good thing they won’t be allowed to have candy this year. Check out these great pics!

While the positions the babies were in to take the photos may not be safe for sleeping, hospital officials say they were monitored and only in the position for the time it took to take the photo.
