DES MOINES, IOWA — The City of Des Moines has heard parents’ concerns and have seen the forecast – Beggars’ Night has officially been moved from Wednesday to Thursday for 2024.

The city made the announcement on Tuesday morning. Heavy thunderstorms are expected throughout Wednesday evening – the typical Beggars’ Night. However, Thursday’s forecast looks much drier. With that in mind, Des Moines trick-or-treaters will now hit the streets on Thursday, October 31st from 6 – 8 pm.
