DES MOINES, Iowa — The madness is returning to Des Moines! The NCAA has announced Wells Fargo Arena will host the first and second rounds of the 2028 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament.

Des Moines hosted the first rounds of the tournament last year and has also hosted in 2016 and 2019. Drake University will act as the host school.

The NCAA also announced the other locations chosen to host for the 2027 and 2028 Men’s Division I tournaments on Wednesday. They are:
